Because Ayurveda is not ultimately a collection of remedies.

It teaches you how to see relationship, imbalance, nourishment and healing differently.

$1000 off until Mid October!

I deeply believe the glory of our future depends on the ways in which we care for our children today.

And that care begins long before a child is born.

It begins with the health of the mother and father before conception.
With the environment in which a baby is conceived.
With the food a mother eats, the thoughts she thinks, the relationships that surround her, and the way she is held throughout pregnancy.

It is shaped through birth.

And it continues through the sacred weeks and months after, as a woman becomes a mother and a baby learns what it means to be here.

Ayurveda understood something our modern culture has largely forgotten:

The mother is the environment of the developing child.

Her nourishment matters.
Her nervous system matters.
Her relationships matter.
Her digestion, sleep, emotional world, spiritual life and connection to Nature matter.

Because when we care deeply for the mother, we are not only caring for one woman.

We are caring for her baby. Her family. And generations we may never meet.

This is the heart of Ayurveda Mama.

Motherhood is more than a life event.

It is a rite of passage.

Pregnancy, birth and postpartum were never meant to simply be endured on the way back to “normal.”

They are profound biological, emotional and spiritual initiations.

A woman is being remade.

And yet so much of modern maternity care focuses primarily on whether mother and baby are medically okay.

Ayurveda asks a different question:

What would allow them to truly thrive?

What would it look like for a woman to enter pregnancy deeply nourished?

To understand her changing body instead of fearing it?

To prepare for birth as an initiation rather than simply an event to survive?

To spend her postpartum period being warmed, fed, massaged, protected, rested and cared for?

To emerge from the childbearing year not emptied by motherhood — but deepened by it?

There is another way to enter motherhood.

And much of it has been known for thousands of years.

I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to either have children or support another in their journey to motherhood. It has been such a healing and supportive space.

I can't thank Dhyana enough for the beautiful offering that is Ayurveda Mama. This knowledge should be taught to all women the world over.

Thank you again dear Dhyana, your work is so important and impactful.

I’m halfway through module 1 and just Wow! As a new mama & women’s health practitioner, there is SO much wisdom here to come back to again and again. Even recorded, your energy and presence shine through

Ayurveda is the science of relationship.

Relationship between food and digestion.

Between the seasons and the body.

Between a mother's inner world and the growing baby within her.

Between conception and the health of the tissues that came before it.

Between birth and the environment surrounding a woman.

Between how a mother is cared for postpartum and her capacity to care for her child.

And ultimately, between the mother, the child, the family, Nature and something greater than themselves.

In Ayurveda, we do not isolate a symptom and ask only how to make it disappear.

We look at the whole living system.

That is how we will approach the childbearing year inside Ayurveda Mama.

  • “Attending the Ayurveda Mama course has been one of the most transformational experiences of my life. As a birth doula, I went into the course with the desire to understand how to support women during pregnancy and postpartum, but what Dhyana offered was that and so much more.”

    — Kirsten, Mother + Birth Keeper”

  • "Whilst I believe that all doula's offer extremely beneficial care, what Dhyana has given me with the teachings on this course is the opportunity to provide a level of care and understanding for my clients that will take my service offerings far beyond the standard expectations of doula work."

  • "...this course has changed me as a mother and wife. Providing me with a better understanding of my family as individuals through the understanding of the doshas. In that same vein it has given me space to be more compassionate towards myself and my own journey as a mother."

Welcome to Ayurveda Mama

A guided training for mothers, mothers-to-be, birth workers and women who feel called to reclaim the ancient art of tending mother + baby.

Together, we will journey from conscious preconception through pregnancy, birth, the sacred postpartum window and the early years of becoming mother.

You will learn the foundations of Ayurveda alongside very practical ways to apply them - food, daily rhythm, herbs, oils, body care, marma, birth preparation and newborn care.

But we will also go deeper.

We will explore the emotional and energetic environment surrounding conception and pregnancy.

The profound portal of labor and birth.

The transition from woman to mother.

The mother-baby dyad.

Family ecology.

The importance of the first 42 days postpartum.

And what it means to create the conditions for a child to enter this world feeling safe, welcomed and deeply held - and for a mother to truly thrive.

This is an education in caring for the whole mother so that she can raise a whole child.

THIS TRAINING IS FOR YOU IF...

You are preparing to become a mother and want to begin before conception, creating the healthiest soil possible for pregnancy and your future child.

You are pregnant and want to understand how to nourish yourself and your baby physically, emotionally and spiritually throughout each stage of pregnancy.

You want to prepare for birth in a way that helps you feel informed, embodied, trusting and supported.

You are postpartum - or plan to be one day - and want to understand the extraordinary importance of the first 42 days and how to protect this sacred window.

You are a doula, midwife, birth keeper, Ayurvedic practitioner, health practitioner or postpartum professional who wants to bring a more holistic and deeply mother-centered approach into your work.

Or perhaps you simply know that the way our culture cares for mothers is not enough...

and something in you is longing to remember another way.

THE TRAINING

Seven Modules Through the Childbearing Journey

The teachings themselves are pre-recorded so that you can move through them in the rhythm of your own life.

Two training sessions will be released each week as we journey together through all seven modules.

We will meet LIVE every Wednesday.

Each week you can join me for a live Mentorship + Mother's Circle + Q&A (sessions will be held on Wednesdays at 10 AM OR 6 PM Eastern - rotating times each week) All sessions will be recorded and available for you to watch at your convenience.

Bring your questions. Bring what is happening in your pregnancy. Bring your clients and case studies. Bring your fears about birth. Bring what you're noticing in your body. Bring what is unfolding in your relationship or your transition into motherhood.

This is where we take the ancient wisdom and ask:

What does this mean for your actual life?

Because information alone is not the same thing as being held through a transformation.

YOU'LL LEAVE WITH...

Not simply more information about Ayurveda.

You will begin to see motherhood differently.

You will understand why preconception matters and how to cultivate fertile soil before pregnancy begins.

You will know how to nourish a pregnant woman according to Ayurvedic principles rather than generic pregnancy advice.

You will have practical tools for food, herbs, oils, body care, marma, daily rhythm and common imbalances.

You will understand birth as a physiological, emotional and spiritual threshold — and know how to better protect the environment around it.

You will understand why postpartum care is not optional luxury, but foundational healthcare for the mother-baby system.

You will know how to care for a newborn through the gentle lens of Ayurveda.

And perhaps most importantly:

You will begin to understand the mother herself as worthy of extraordinary care.

FOR THE MOTHER

You may come because you want to know what to eat during pregnancy.

You may come because you're afraid of birth.

You may come because you want to understand postpartum before you're standing inside it.

But my hope is that you leave with something much greater:

A deeper trust in your body.

A clearer relationship with your intuition.

An understanding of the rhythms and needs of motherhood.

And a completely different orientation toward what this season of your life is asking of you.

Motherhood was never meant to deplete you into disappearance.

It can be the initiation through which you become more deeply yourself.

FOR THE BIRTH WORKER + PRACTITIONER

If you care for women through conception, pregnancy, birth or postpartum, Ayurveda gives you another lens through which to see the woman in front of you.

Instead of asking only:

What does she need for this symptom?

You begin asking:

What is happening in the whole system? What is her constitution? How is she digesting? What season is she in? What does her nervous system need? What is happening emotionally? What support surrounds her? What qualities are present — and what qualities need to be restored?

This is individualized care.

And it allows your support to move beyond a checklist into a much deeper understanding of the woman herself.

MEET YOUR TEACHER

Hi, I'm Dhyana.

I'm the author of Ayurveda Mama, an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, mother of three, and founder of Whole Family.

For years my work has centered around a question that has only become more important to me as I've become a mother myself:

What allows mothers and families to truly thrive?

Ayurveda taught me that we cannot separate a woman's physical health from her emotional world, her relationships, the rhythms of her home, her connection to Nature or the deeper meaning of her life.

Motherhood has only made this more clear.

I believe motherhood is a rite of passage — one with the potential to mature us, reveal us and heal places within us that may never have been touched otherwise.

And I believe the way we care for women during conception, pregnancy, birth and postpartum has consequences far beyond those months themselves.

When we care for a mother, we care for her child.

When we change what a child experiences at the very beginning of life, we change what they carry forward.

When we heal mothers, we heal generations.

This training is one small way of restoring that kind of care.

FAQ’s

Beautiful. Preconception is one of the most powerful times to learn this work.

You have the opportunity to nourish your body and begin creating the conditions for pregnancy before you need them.

“…but I’m not pregnant yet.”

1

Not at all. Begin where you are.

You can start applying many of these principles immediately, while also preparing for birth and postpartum before your baby arrives.

“I’m already pregnant. Is it too late?”

2

Perfect. We begin with the foundations.

You do not need previous training to participate.

If you already have an Ayurvedic background, the childbearing lens will allow you to apply those principles much more specifically to conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and baby care.

“I’m a practitioner. Is this a professional training?”

4

Ayurveda Mama is an educational training in Ayurvedic principles and mother-baby care.

Upon completion, if requested, I can send you a certificate for 20 hours Ayurveda & Motherhood Training

It does not replace licensed medical care, midwifery training, or individualized medical advice.

“I don’t know if I’ll make every live call”

That is okay. Every live session will be recorded for you to view at your convenience.

The live space is there to support you, not become another obligation.

Come when you can. Receive what you need. Move through the recordings in a way that honors the season of life you are actually in.

“Are there refunds?”

Because of the nature of this training, all sales are final.

We trust that you signed up for a reason, and that something in you felt the call to be here. My invitation is to stay in relationship with that yes, even if resistance, doubt, or life gets noisy along the way.

This work is meant to be moved through with intention, not perfection.
